Purpose

The purpose of the test is to determine the window or exterior door's ability to withstand wind loads.

Method

The accredited testing is carried out against the current standard EN 12211.

The test consists of three parts, where air tightness is measured before and after wind load (deformation test), deformation test through wind load which is measured on the least favorable parts of the test object and finally a storm safety test is performed.

The results are reported in a written report that describes how the test object has performed against the applicable classification standard EN12210.

The report includes descriptions, relevant accompanying images and drawings.

The report can be used as a basis for a compiled ITT report and/or as a basis for the manufacturer's declaration of performance for CE marking.

Other

På vårt byggnadsfysikaliska labb utför vi även annan provning av motstånd mot vindlast på andra material och byggsystem etc- se mer i nedanstående relaterade tjänster.

At our building physics lab, we also perform other testing of resistance to wind load on other materials and building systems, etc. - see more in the related services below.
