Testing for wind load, air tightness and rain tightness is part of extensive testing of the fire ventilator aiming at certification. Other parts of RISE are tests for fire resistance, snow load, opening/closing test and vibration test.

Purpose

The following tests are offered: air tightness, rain tightness and wind load

Testing of function and safety during use.

Method

Safety against wind load according to EN12101-2, Annex F static load of the ventilator with 10 kg soft weight bags on the inside of the ventilator with the inverted upside down, and applies to the ventilator of magnitude on long side even 3 m.

Air tightness, rain tightness and wind load according to EN 1873 and EN 14963 testing of the ventilator mounted on a horizontal airtight platform
