Related Service Moisture damage survey of building structures The structural design and stability of the structure shall not be affected by the system or the design of the structure itself, such as the frame, foundation, roof or walls. RISE may make any or all of the following interpretations that may be necessary to prevent damage or to ensure that no damage occurs. Service Moisture experts Moisture experts at RISE are involved in all or part of the construction process as a support to the developer or contractor to ensure the quality of moisture safety work (ByggaF). RISE conducts research and develops tools for ByggaF to better verify and analyse the moisture safety of structures and materials. The staff are area specialists. Service Moisture calculation and mould prediction of building construction Moisture calculation is a method to clarify relatively quickly whether a construction has theoretical conditions to function well. The result of a moisture calculation is often evaluated with mould simulation. A moisture calculation is relatively resource-efficient compared to other methods such as field measurement or laboratory testing. Service Microbial analysis of building materials Moisture puts buildings at risk for mould damages, with negative consequences to both economy and health. Mould is not acceptable in a building if there is a risk of it affecting the indoor environment. When mould is indicated, or the end users experience problems in the indoor environment, microbial analyses are often used as an investigative aid.
