Peter Lidbom

Peter Lidbom works as Reserch- and Development Engineer for Product Safety at the Electrification & Reliability department, Safety and Transport division.

His team's interests include Li-ion cells and modules testing as Fast RPT (Reference Performance Test), OCV (Open Circuit Voltage) tests, Short Circuit tests, Battery Cycling, Fast Charge, Overcharge and Fast Discharge tests, Thermal Cycling, Calendar and Accelerated Aging tests, Profile, Pulse, EIS (Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy), etc.

Peter is a research and development engineer and in his everyday work, Peter helps customers to ensure the development of batteries regarding various types of testing that are the basis for labeling and certification. Previously, Peter has worked with heating and cooling technology and specifically with heat pumps, food refrigeration, various research assignments within the Energy and resources unit, field measurements, systems and installation technology, energy mapping, quality assurance, manufacturing controls, management systems and business improvement within various processes.
