Automated monitoring of industrial cleaning processes

Automated monitoring of industrial cleaning processes, DigiClean II, is a Vinnova financed project which is a continuation of another Vinnova financed project, DigiClean which ends up in may 2024. Focus in DigiClean has been development of an automated digital solution for monitoring of chemical cleaning processes, predictive maintenance and smart data-based decision making. This has resulted in decreased consumption of energy, chemicals and water as well as improved traceability of components along the value chain. 

Hereafter,focus in DigiClean II is further development and adjustment of the technology, expansion of the application areas towards new end-users as well as enabling testing and establishing of a new innovative and sustainable offering of digital solutions in the chemical industry.  

Partners in the project are IKP AB, Chalmers Industriteknik as well as SKF, Clemondo AB and Volvo Group.
