Bootcamp in data analysis

Learn to effectively manage, process, and analyze large amounts of data in RISE’s digital bootcamp. You may already have basic knowledge of data analysis, but lack the tools and methods that save time, enable automation, and make your analyses more reliable and reproducible.

In 40 hours, you will learn the basics of structuring, transforming, visualizing, and analyzing data. We start with the latest research in the field and teach you to use the best tools in the industry.

The ongoing digitalization means that we generate and consume more data than ever before. The development has been fast and there are a plethora of new tools that help you automate how you visualize and analyze your data. The tools also need to be integrated into a workflow that promotes good data management so that you can ensure quality, availability, traceability, and security.

In RISE’s data analysis bootcamp, you will learn just this. RISE experts have extensive experience of industry standards in data analysis and drive development within AI. Together with them, you get the opportunity to take part in the latest in proven methods and tools.

Content

RISE’s data analysis bootcamp covers several topics and gives you a solid foundation to build on. We go through how you import data from different sources and format it for efficient handling. We focus on how you can use the Python programming language to automate visualization and analysis with different tools and libraries. We introduce machine learning algorithms and their application in data analysis, and show how version control tools can be used for more structured programming.

Purpose and Target Group

This is a practical training program that suits beginners in programming who need to analyze and visualize data. Experience of working with tools like Excel is advantageous, as you will then discover how modern programming tools can give you superpowers. Mastering a combination of the skills and tools we teach prepares you for the next level of data analysis and makes you a valuable asset for all organizations that use data-driven decision-making processes.

Date and Place

Our bootcamp is conducted digitally over a week. The total training time is estimated at about 40 hours including exercises, of which 20 hours are intended for structured teaching and the rest is independent work.
