The Swedish Hydrogen Development Center arranges a number of webinars, workshops and events on the theme of Industrial Hydrogen. Participants are welcome with one or more employees.

Hydrogen storage and export – technology and economics

Welcome to SHDC's Academic Road Trip, featuring speakers from Swedish universities and research institutes. This time, we will focus on the role of hydrogen in the sustainable energy system, with a particular emphasis on storage and export.

Liquid Hydrogen Safety 

Dec 17th at 8.30-9.30 am

Liquid hydrogen is an interesting option for the bulk transport and storage of hydrogen, and even as an energy carrier for some transport applications such as aviation. This session will explore the different hazards that need to be considered for liquid hydrogen systems in comparison with gaseous hydrogen systems.

SHDC event at Siemens Energy

Welcome to two days of seminars, networking, and visits to Siemens Energy.

Date: January 29–30, 2026

Location: Norrköping & Finspång
Target group: SHDC members and the Swedish Energy Agency only

Day 1 – Norrköping
We start in the afternoon with a seminar session focusing on hydrogen and flexibility – two key areas for the green transition. The day ends with dinner and an opportunity to make valuable contacts.

Day 2 – Finspång
The second day will be devoted to a visit to Siemens Energy. The program includes presentations, a guided tour of the castle, and a visit to the workshop, where you will gain unique insight into advanced energy technology and production.
