Maria Holmkvist is Programme Manager of the Food Accelerator and works as an Innovation Leader, Business Developer, and Business Coach at RISE. She helps small and medium-sized enterprises develop new business opportunities, strengthen competitiveness, and accelerate sustainable growth and transformation.
Maria works at the interface between industry, research, and the public sector, leading collaborative initiatives that support innovation, business development, and the transition to more sustainable food systems. She also serves as a business coach within programmes such as Industrial Dynamics, Omställningslyftet, and Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), with a particular focus on food and agri-food companies.
Her expertise includes innovation management, business development, entrepreneurship, project leadership, and cross-sector collaboration. Maria has extensive experience from the food, aquaculture, blue economy, sustainability, transport, IT, and media sectors.
