Kathryn Harris

Kathryn has a background in Materials and Mechanical Engineering, and through her work in tribology found an interest first in haptic perception, and then in multisensory perception of materials. This cross disciplinary work has led her to work with both product perception and behavioural change within areas such as meat replacement and dietary change, papers and non-wovens, molded paper products, prints and printability, and waste reduction.

Her interest in perceptions and attitudes is especially focused toward sustainable product design and evolution, as well as in motivating and hindering factors for sustainable behaviour. She also works with data analysis across disciplines, packaging testing, scientific illustration, and even market studies.
