Cristina Rusu
Senior Expert

Assoc. Prof. Cristina Rusu, Senior Expert has M.Sc. in Applied Physics (Faculty of Physics, Romania, 1990) and Ph.D. in Microtechnology (University of Twente, The Netherlands, 1998). She was Scientific Researcher at IMEC (Belgium) in MEMS technology development and from 2002 joined RISE focusing on low-power sensors and energy harvesting for IoT. In 2002 Cristina became Associate professor in Microtechnology at Chalmers University of Technology. Cristina has more than 100 publications in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences and is also co-inventor of 4 patents in microsystem technology. She has long experience in R&D project management for big projects, Swedish and European. She is evaluator for R&D projects in Romania, Belgium, Dubai, member in examination board for PhD thesis related to Micro System & IoT sensors (2005 – present), PhD supervisor for Chalmers student.
