Purpose
We offer testing in compliance with regulations or requirements (e.g. EU Commission Regulation 10/2011, national regulations such as BfR XXXVI, FDA or industry guidelines).
The analytical results serve as the basis for demonstrating compliance with regulations, and support product development and problem solving.
The analysis is accredited according to ISO 17025.
Method
For plastics, the material or product is exposed to food simulant at relevant conditions whereas for paper and board, the material/product is extracted with cold or hot water.
The amount of bisphenol A is determined in the migrate or extract by liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry (LC/MS).

The results are compiled in an analytical report.
