Is your solution or product ready for the market? Test and verify it with RISE.

To break into the market, you need more than just a good idea; you need verified solutions. Launching a product onto the market without sufficient verification can result in regulatory hold-ups, lost investment rounds and delays to the launch of months or even years. Do you need help developing a working prototype into a verified product that has been tested against real-world requirements and at real-world scale? This will open doors to customers, investors and new markets.

Independent testing is the key to opening the door to the market

Whether an innovation reaches the market or not is determined by the step from a working prototype to a verified product. Customers demand documentation. Certification bodies demand evidence. Investors demand credibility. If a solution or product is launched onto the market without having been properly tested and verified, it risks being unready. The cost of making adjustments afterwards is always higher than the cost of testing at the right stage.

This is where RISE’s test and demonstration environments come into play. Here, you can test and verify products and solutions in real-world conditions, under heavy loads and against strict regulatory requirements and standards. We are always independent and often accredited. This helps to minimise the risk of having to send the product back to the drawing board and start again.

What can you test at RISE?

RISE's test and demonstration environments provide the expertise and methodologies needed to develop, test and verify solutions that meet market and regulatory requirements. Depending on your solution, you can use them to:

  • Verify the functionality and performance in realistic environments that reflect actual operating conditions.
  • Document safety and technical durability in a way that withstands scrutiny by third parties, including certification bodies and regulatory authorities.
  • Meeting specific customer or regulatory requirements that call for independent testing.
  • Demonstrate 'proof of technology' to investors and strategic partners.
  • Identify what needs to be adjusted before scaling up production or entering new markets.

This is how it works:

  1. Get in touch with RISE. Tell us about your solution and what you would like to test or verify.
  2. We will assess your application initially and respond within two working days.
  3. We will put you in touch with the right testing and demonstration facilities and expertise at RISE.
  4. Carry out the tests.
  5. Take your results further. Verified, independent test results open doors to customers, investors, certification bodies, and new markets.

Customer case study: How RISE has supported other organisations in their development

Einride receives the go-ahead from the authorities following a RISE review

Einride, which develops autonomous electric lorries, needed an independent safety assessment to meet regulatory requirements and bring the technology to market. RISE carried out the assessment across several critical areas. The result: regulatory approval.

“Having a partner like RISE, who are willing to sit down with us and work out a plan to review and validate something that didn’t exist yesterday – that has been crucial for us,” says Nourie Boraie, Head of Global Affairs & Safety Oversight at Einride.

From ProNano to the wider world: AlixLabs is developing technology to shrink semiconductors

AlixLabs develops technology for miniaturising semiconductors and used RISE’s ProNano technology infrastructure as a springboard – from early-stage product development to global expansion.

“When you work with technology like ours, which requires long development cycles, you are very much dependent on good partners in various forms. RISE is an excellent partner for us in this context. I don’t think we would have got this far if we hadn’t been part of ProNano,” says Per-Anders Eriksson, COO & Deputy CEO at AlixLabs.
