Members of Normpack receive advice and education regarding rules and regulations for Food Contact Materials
Many that work with food contact materials may not be passionate about legislation. We are!
We keep constant watch on what happens in the area as new rules are published regularly, several times a year. Therefore, we can provide you with updated information and advice.
As a member of Normpack, your company will benefit from Normpack Norm - a compilation of the EU requirements and rules that ensure a solid evaluation of your food contact material.
Normpack issues certificates for individual materials and articles. When customers receive the Normpack certificate, they can be sure that the evaluation of the material is made in accordance with current legislation and is based on adequate documentation.
Since everyone contributes to the final product, Normpack has member companies along the entire value chain, from chemical companies, material manufacturers, converters, packaging and product manufacturers to trading companies.

The benefits of a membership

Courses
We offer course to our members within the legislative field of food contact materials. Our Basic course is a very good first step to get a good overview of the requirements. There is also the opportunity to get customized courses for your particular needs.
Fees and charges
The fee for a membership varies depending on the size of the company. Several member units from the same company group get reduced fees.
Membership runs for one calendar year and is automatically renewed at the end of the year. In case of termination of the membership, this must be done before the end of the year.
New member?
We want to give more companies the opportunity to try a Normpack membership. That's why as a new member you get a discount on the first year, half the price under each category in the first calendar year.
Normpack member fees 2026
- Company
- with annual turnover < SEK 100 million: 18 650 SEK
- with annual turnover > SEK 100 million: 29 500 SEK
- Group of companies*
- 2 units: SEK 20 050 per unit
- 3 units: SEK 17 700 per unit
- 4 or more units: SEK 15 000 per unit
* several companies from the same corporate group
Premium membership
Do you need more advice beyond the 6 hours included in the standard membership? We now offer an extended membership, premium membership.
The premium membership also includes:
- Additional 6 hours of consulting / year (total 12 hours of consulting/year)
- Additional 3 people with login to the member website (total 6 people with login)
- One participation in our web-based course on Declaration of Compliance (DoC) per year
Premium membership fee
- 11 000 SEK added to the regular membership fee
