Purpose
Our Services in Technical Cleanliness
We offer comprehensive cleanliness analyses that include particle extraction from component surfaces, particle counting, and material characterization. When needed, we can deepen the analysis using a scanning electron microscope with X-ray analysis, allowing you as a customer to identify the origin of particles with high precision.
Cleanliness analyses are performed according to both internal company standards—such as Volvo STD 107-0002 and Scania STD4189/STD4540—and international standards like ISO 16232 and VDA 19.
Cleanliness Audits and On-Site Visits
To support your operations on-site, we offer cleanliness audits where we analyze and improve production processes from a cleanliness perspective. The goal is to enhance quality and reduce the risk of contamination in critical areas of production.
Training in Technical Cleanliness
We tailor and deliver training in technical cleanliness—both basic and company-specific. Feel free to contact us to discuss a setup that suits your organization. We also offer advisory services in connection with cleanliness audits.
Competence Development and Networking
To strengthen knowledge within Swedish industry, we run educational initiatives and a professional network—Centrum för renhet—where companies with an interest in technical cleanliness can share experiences and access up-to-date expertise.
Method
We measure components’ cleanliness by:
- maximum particle size
- maximum amount of particles of a certain type or size
- maximum weight of particles per part
- cleanliness code (ISO-code), amount of particles/ml or particles/cm2
