On March 24, 2026, Forum Samhällsbyggnad was held in Gothenburg under the theme “Sustainable Construction – From Regulations to Real Change.”
The 2026 Forum Samhällsbyggnad: Sustainable Construction – From Regulations to Real Change shone a spotlight on actual change: How do we move from governance, regulations, and climate goals to implementation, innovation, and concrete results?
The construction sector is in the midst of a rapid sustainable transition, driven by new regulations, climate requirements, and digitalization. Forum Samhällsbyggnad highlights that the industry is now moving from visions to practical implementation, including through increased reuse, better collaboration, and shared digital workflows. At the same time, complexity is increasing, requiring stakeholders to make decisions despite uncertainty and to work in a more long-term and innovative manner.
