Purpose
Wood drying requires the greatest amount of energy at sawmills and high lumber values are at stake. Due to the complexity of the drying process, a small change in process parameters can have great impact on the final result.
With our software, developed over years by combining research and industrial practice, you can simulate the drying process for either batch or progressive kilns in order to improve the drying process in terms of energy, time and quality according to the prerequisites of your facilities. Since the user is free to set the capacity of the simulated kilns, the software is also a valuable tool when planning investments in new drying facilities – if this is still needed after increasing the capacity of the existing kilns.
