Purpose
To assess thermal transport (effective thermal conductivity and diffusivity) for solids at high temperatures.
Method
Thermal capacitance (Slug) calorimeter is used for the determination of apparent thermal conductivity and diffusivity of solid materials. This method can be applied to both highly insulating and conducting materials.
Temperature range of this method is between 22 °C and 1 100 °C.
Deliveries
After the measurements have been performed, a report is delivered that describes the test, the procedure, and results.
