Purpose

RISE offers accredited tests of ventilation filters, which can be used to verify their products, used as a part of a product development process, or used as a basis for procurement.

Within the framework of P-labelling, we also offer long-term tests where the filters are evaluated with regards to filtration properties after being used in a real environment.

Method

Testing are conducted at RISE's laboratory in Borås within the testbed of Ventilation and Indoor environment. We have the possibility to evaluate ventilation filters according to the ISO 16890- and EN 779 standard. We also carry out long-term tests according to SP-Method 1937, which forms the basis for P-marking of ventilation filters.

Deliveries

A technical report is provided and delivered for each testing. The preliminary results and data are presented based on the purpose of the testing. If the testing is a part of the P-marking, a certificate will be obtained with an approved implementation.
