Are skilled chemist’s fundamental for performing retrosynthetic analysis or can modern methods like AI and machine learning make a difference in finding new synthetic routes?
At RISE, we can successfully identify significantly shorter and more efficient synthetic routes to get to the desired target compounds, using AI-assisted route scouting methods. This includes excluding challenging synthetic steps, introducing better scalability, finding process steps that are more environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, and/or gives a higher overall yield.
