Acoustic properties testing - windows and exterior doors
We perform accredited testing of acoustic properties on windows and exterior doors.
Purpose
The purpose of the test is to determine the sound insulation capacity of the window or front door.
Method
The accredited test is carried out according to the current standard SS-EN ISO 10140-2 and the results are evaluated according to SS-EN ISO 717-2. The results are reported as weighted sound reduction values, Rw, together with the adaptation terms C and Ctr, which describe the sound insulation of windows and facades in different traffic noise situations.
Delivery
When the test is complete, the results are reported in a written report that can be used as a basis for a compiled ITT report and/or as a basis for the manufacturer's declaration of performance for CE marking.
