Valerio Beni

Valerio Beni ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/valerio-beni-617a8524/) holds a degree (1999, Universita’ degli Studi di Firenze, Italy) and a Ph.D. (2005, University College Cork, Ireland) in Chemistry.
Before moving to RISE AB (2015), Division ICT – RISE Acreo, he has been working at different European universities and research institutes as Postdoctoral Researcher (Tyndall National Institute, Ireland; 2005-2007), Marie Curie Fellow (Universitat Rovira I Virgili, Spain; 2008-2011) and as Assistant Professor (Linköping University, Sweden, 2011-2015).
His core expertise lies in the area of: (i) electrochemical chemi/bio-sensors for clinical, food and environmental analysis, (ii) printed electronic, (iii) chemistry and (iv) project writing and management.
His current activities include: development of (i) printed electrochemical chemi/bio-sensors, (ii) hybrid-printed electronic for sensing, (iii) inks and processes for stretchable and conformable electronic, (iv) project writing and (v) management.
