Smita Chakraborty

My research interests are deep neural networks, physics-informed machine learning, quantum simulations and algorithms. My PhD is in theoretical particle physics from Lund University in 2022, titled "Investigation of Quark Gluon Plasma-like signals with Lund string interactions". I am interested in deep learning and machine learning for large-scale research infrastructures, medical use and materials science. Some of the latest projects include the detection of cyanobacteria in the Baltic Sea with EUMETSAT, the use of AI for SAXS measurements (AI-SAXS) and tomography (AI-TOMO).
