Oskar Riby

I am a project manager and business developer at RISE, focusing on digitalisation and AI as drivers of competitiveness and sustainable transition. I have experience from projects across the full spectrum, from regional development initiatives to larger EU projects within Horizon Europe.

In regional programmes, I have worked to strengthen the ability of small and medium-sized enterprises to understand and apply AI in their operations. This has included competence development, AI sprints, and the creation of collaborative environments connecting companies, academia, and the public sector. The work has centred on moving from interest to practical implementation.

At the European level, I have contributed to international consortia focused on innovation, cultural heritage, energy, and societal transition. My role has involved developing new ways of working, testing solutions in real-life environments, and building long-term structures for collaboration across countries and sectors.

I have a background in entrepreneurship and the cultural and creative sectors, which shapes my approach. I am motivated by making complex topics clear and applicable in practice. My focus is to support organisations in turning digital opportunities into tangible value, grounded in responsibility and long-term impact.
