Marie Johansson

Primarily working on the development of wood technology and timber construction, often related to tall wooden buildings, construction, joints, prefabrication, and the material properties of wood.
Project leader for research projects such as "Dynamic response of tall wooden buildings to wind loads" and "Tall wooden buildings - a concept study", as well as projects on strength grading of birch timber. I also serve as a process leader for RISE's collaboration with Svenskt Trä and TMF. Additionally, I have assignments for the Swedish Forest Industries Federation within Bioinnovation and in the National Support Group to the Forest-based Technology Platform. With a background as a researcher at Chalmers University of Technology and Linnaeus University, I have many years of experience teaching structural engineering with a focus on timber construction.
