Joacim works as a certification engineer in the product certification department. In his role, he assists both Swedish and international clients in obtaining Swedish type approvals for products used in tap water, cooling, and heating systems.

RISE also publishes certificates for SPCR 120 (biofertilizer), SPCR 152 (compost), SPCR 167 (Revaq, sewage sludge), SPCR 171 (formaldehyde, A2LA) and SPCR 020 (REACH). For sanitary fittings, such as kitchen, washbasin, and shower mixers, RISE additionally issues energy rating certificates.
