I hold a Master of Science in Environmental and Water Engineering, from Uppsala University and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. After working at the Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Technology (JTI) for just over six years, with, among other things, small-scale wastewater treatment, evaluation of treatment technology, and circular wastewater systems, I decided to deepen my research skills and obtained a doctorate in environmental technology at Mälardalen University. Since completing my thesis – “Sludge-derived char: utilisation as a metal sorbent in dilute wastewaters” (2023) – I have continued to work as a researcher, now at RISE.
You can find me in national research projects, EU projects, or network contexts. I am involved in a biochar cluster called “Innovationskluster Biokol Sverige” and I am in charge of RISE Biobased fertiliser piloting equipment. My favorite activities at work include performing calculations and being in the lab when given the opportunity.
