Gabriella Kalteneckar holds a DIHM Diploma in Strategic Business Development (EQF level 6, equivalent to Bachelor ’s-level studies) and serves as a senior project manager at RISE within the Lifelong Learning unit. She has a background as an Industrial Engineer with extensive experience in process and business development, having worked with operational excellence, business management, and change management in both the industrial and service sectors.
At RISE, Gabriella works to develop and strengthen ecosystems, with a particular focus on the Swedish video game industry and the cultural and creative sectors. She is active in the GameNode testing and demo environment and the PowerUp business network, where she serves as a unifying force among industry, academia, and the public sector.
Gabriella is also involved in the AI Innovation Factory MIMER, where she works at the intersection of advanced AI, high-performance computing (HPC), and applications in the business and public sectors. Her role focuses on translating technical possibilities into concrete business and societal benefits, as well as supporting organisations in understanding, testing, and scaling data- and computation-intensive solutions.
In addition to her operational work, Gabriella is active in national and international contexts related to policy development, workforce development, and innovation systems. She operates at the intersection of technology, business, and societal development, with a particular interest in how structures, regulations, and collaboration can strengthen Sweden’s and Europe’s competitiveness.
Gabriella has a broad background in business and industry—ranging from logistics and supply chain management to IT and entertainment—and has thereby developed strong expertise in optimising processes, leading cross-functional teams, and supporting organisations in achieving sustainable growth. She is also deeply committed to sustainability, gender equality, health, and the creative industries.
