Frank Schleicher

Frank is a researcher with seven years of experience in the automotive and machinery industry as a project manager and test engineer and 2 years experience as a researcher. With his background in mechanical engineering and a master's degree in Wood Technology, he laid the foundation for developing, planning, designing, commissioning, and utilizing experimental machines for wood-related research. His industrial experience enables him to work on large projects with significant responsibility and high ambitions.

Frank is an important link to the university in Skellefteå since he completed his studies there and thus maintains strong connections with researchers and has a thorough understanding of the available equipment. His role includes developing collaboration between RiSE and the research group in Skellefteå at the university, as well as seeking funding for joint projects and providing expertise and knowledge as a project team member.
