Emanuel Eriksson
Research- and Development engineer
Emanuel Eriksson works as a Research and Development Engineer in the Packaging and Packaging Systems unit at RISE. The unit specializes in testing, characterization, and evaluation of packaging, products, and materials, with a focus on mechanical reliability, environmental durability, and performance. The work includes mechanical testing, such as vibration and shock testing, as well as environmental testing where samples are exposed to varying temperatures, pressures, and humidity levels. The products tested primarily consist of finished products, packaging, and packaging systems, as well as individual components. Most testing is performed under accreditation according to IEC and ASTM technical standards. Customer-specific testing is also conducted, where test setups are developed based on the customer's unique requirements, with standards such as MIL, AECTP, Def Stan, and ISTA serving as the basis for test levels and considerations.
Emanuel is responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating tests to help companies verify, develop, and improve their products and packaging solutions. By combining practical testing with analysis and technical expertise, he contributes to ensuring the functionality, quality, and durability of products, packaging, and materials.
