Purpose
Properties such as colour, transmittance and reflectance in a material often changes over time. Therefore, as an evaluation of different aging methods, it is common to use optical surface analysis to study the change in the material. Depending on the material and purpose, properties can be evaluated in different wavelength ranges.
Method
RISE offer optical evaluations of material properties in the UV, visual and IR wavelength range using various spectroscopic methods. Common assessment factors are colour, gloss, transmittance, haze, yellowness index (YI) and reflectance.
Deliveries
Upon completion of the test, we deliver a report on the test procedure and results.
