Refining of paper pulp
The refining laboratory is a part of the flexible pilot plant for stock preparation. Here, paper pulp can be refined in one or more stages. It is also possible to refinine with recirculation of part of the flow.
The test bed is a flexible pilot plant for refining paper pulp. Here, experiments are conducted with single-pass refining or recirculation. There are two different refiners and many different refiner fillings. All equipment is industrial scale.
The test bed consists of:
- Cone refiner, Metso JC-01 + various refiner fillings
- Cone refiner, Metso JC-00 + various refiner fillings
- Pipe system
- Pulp tanks
- Pumps
- Measuring and control equipment
