Testing is carried out in accordance to a common set schedule.
Purpose
Visual Inspection is performed to provide evidence of package integrity and identify any production sealing problems. Visual Inspection is usually followed by subsequent tests such as for example Seal Strength, Dye Penetration and Bubble Leak test.
Method
The visual inspection is performed using controlled lighting that illuminates any defects in the seal. The defects identified can then be evaluated for their impact on the integrity of the package.
