A free measurement database provides better structure, control and quality.
All calibration customers at RISE now have access to a comprehensive register of measuring devices. As well as the devices calibrated by RISE, customers can add their own devices, calibration records and manuals.
The new measurement device register from RISE is a great tool for all calibration customers, offering an effective way to manage data on calibrations and self-checks. The new feature is that you can now also record calibrations and measurements performed elsewhere or internally.
"This system has many advantages. It is comprehensive, easy to understand and user-friendly. What's more, it's completely free for our customers,' says Mats Olsson, Research and Business Development Manager for the Control and Calibration Department at RISE.
Registers provide a good overview.
The measuring device register can be used to store all of the company's calibration certificates and associated documents for measuring devices, as well as evaluations. Customers can also confirm here that the measuring device meets the requirements for their measuring system. The register provides a clear overview of which instruments have been calibrated and when the next calibration is due.
"In addition to a notification in the system itself, you will now also receive an email telling you when it is time to calibrate. You can also book a new calibration appointment with a single click at the same time," says Petra Lantz, Head of the Control and Calibration Department at RISE.
An efficient system for collecting data.
Another advantage of the new measuring device register is that it efficiently collects all the data required for quality audits in one place.
“Overall, this provides our customers with better structure, control and quality in their measurement results, which ultimately contributes to safer and more reliable production,” says Petra Lantz.
