Purpose
Pressurized components can cause great damage if not designed correctly. Adequate safety margins are thus of great importance to minimize risks. At the Department of Applied Mechanics, test objects filled with water can be pressurized until reaching burst. It is also possible to conduct leakage tests by pressurizing test objects with a specified pressure and time duration. The aim is to ensure that no leakage occurs during testing.
Method
Most test objects, with a few exceptions, are filled with water to reduce stored energy during pressurization. We can produce tailor-made solutions onsite, including adapters and plugs, to enable customized testing.
Deliveries
As a client, you will receive a digitally signed technical report presented in Swedish or English.
