Testing

Fabrics that should be waterproof are tested using this method. Testing is conducted with 5 test specimens per material. The pressure is increased at a constant rate until drops penetrate. We can also perform static testing where the pressure is held constant for a certain period. Testing can be carried out over seams to check the seam’s tightness. Pre-treatment in the form of washing or various types of abrasion may occur.
