In the previous project, we developed and demonstrated a modular battery replacement system for electric-powered agricultural and forestry machinery. In this project, we want to build on the results to take the ecosystem around the battery replacement system step by step towards the market.

The rapid electrification of the vehicle fleet presents new challenges for the power grid – but also new opportunities. By mapping where EV owners live, how they drive, and who can benefit from V2X technology, this project generates insights to support a more flexible and data-driven energy system.

This project aims to explore the potential for integrating nuclear heat, from both existing nuclear power and new dedicated Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), into Swedish district heating systems through comprehensive techno-economic analysis and multi-level energy system modeling.

TechUPGRADE is an ambitious initiative aimed at creating a groundbreaking advanced thermochemical technology for waste heat recovery. Our solution efficiently recovers waste heat from industrial processes and upgrades it to temperatures ranging from 150-250°C.

SULPHURREAL demonstrates an innovative approach to the direct storage of concentrated solar energy in solid elemental sulphur. The basic idea is to use concentrated solar energy to cyclically drive a series of chemical reactions that interconvert sulphuric acid and sulphur.
