The course "Water Microbiology - Theory and Practice" provides basic theoretical and practical knowledge about microbiological water analyses.

Content

Lectures on basic microbiology, microbiological water analyses, as well as health risks and risk management. The course is held together with the Göteborgs stad - kretslopp och vatten. We will visit Göteborgs Va-verks laboratory with demonstrations of sample setup, readings, and microscopy.

Target group

The course is aimed at employees in water laboratories within, for example, municipalities, the beverage industry, or similar, who want to increase their understanding of microbiological water analyses.
