BridgeHouse

BridgeHouse has emerged from the industry's need for new solutions to reduce climate and environmetal impacts throughout the value chain. For large industrial companies, the transition is not just about their own operations, but also about emissions and resource use among suppliers and other stakeholders along the way.

At the same time, there are many smaller companies with technologies and ideas that could contribute to the transition, but which need access to industrial environments, expertise, and opportunities to test whether their solutions work on a larger scale. BridgeHouse aims to create that link between innovative companies and established industry. 

Through BridgeHouse, startups and scaleups can gain access to expertise, laboratories, test environments, and industrial infrastructure at AstraZeneca, Scania, and RISE. This might involve, for example, verifying a new technology, investigating whether it can be scaled up, or adapting it for use in an industrial process.

RISE contributes research, testing, verification, and validation, as well as access to test and demonstration environments. Together, the partners are creating a platform where new solutions can be developed based on concrete industrial needs and gain a better chance of reaching the market.
