We offer

  • Initial assessment of quality management systems – we review your system to ensure that you meet the requirements for type approval.
  • Quality management system surveillance (CoP) – we follow up and ensure that your system continues to meet the requirements over time.

In addition to this, we also offer testing against standards and support throughout the type approval process. Read more about these services on our related pages below.

The initial assessment process

  1. You contact us and we will go through your needs together and determine which documents and procedures need to be in place.
  2. We will review your quality management system and ensure that it meets the requirements for type approval. If necessary, we will also conduct an on-site inspection.
  3. You will receive a report with the results. If the system meets the requirements, the type approval process can continue – otherwise, you will receive clear recommendations for improvements.

Delivery

The delivery consists of a report that may contain deviations. These deviations are addressed by you before a final report is prepared, which is then used as a basis for the Swedish Transport Agency.

The report serves as a basis for the authority and also contains recommendations for improvements where necessary. If the system is approved, the process continues and RISE follows up with regular monitoring to ensure that the requirements continue to be met over time.
