Map the magnetic field around your product at close range

  • Measure and visualize the magnetic field at close range and with high spatial resolution
  • Analyze the magnetic field in relation to compliance limits
  • Investigate temperature dependent demagnetization processes of permanent magnets
  • Locate magnetic impurities, for instance magnetic components on PCBs

MagScan – A 3-axis Magnetic Scanner

  • Scan magnetic field around samples in 3 dimensions
  • Default sensor: 3-axis Hall sensor (SENM3Dx)
    • Optional sensor: 3-axis AMR for applications requiring higher sensitivity at lower field ranges (<1 mT)
  • Magnetic field range: ~10 uT – 4 T
  • Spatial resolution:  <100 um
  • Sensor-to-object-distance : ~0.5 mm (including ~0.35 mm inside the IC capsule)
  • Optional: Sample heating up to 200 C

Delivery

  • Visualization of the magnetic field
  • Analysis of measured magnetic field levels in relation to compliance limits
