RISE delivers an accredited test report, which can form the basis of the certification of compliance with the directive by self-declaration.
RISE is accredited for EMC and radio communications testing of AC-charging stations to meet the EMC-directive and the Radio directive (RED), for which we are also a notified body.
EMC-testing is performed according to IEC 61851-21-2.

At RISE, we offer testing and certification of electricity meters in charging stations according to Swedish and international standards.
RISE is accredited for testing of electricity meters and certification to meet the Measurement Instruments Directive (MID). RISE is notified body for MID and is authorised to issue EU approvals.
Testing and certification can be performed on electricity meter modules in AC-charging stations according MID. Charging stations are yet to be included in MID, but there is an ongoing process to make that happen.

Accredited test report and MID-certificate
RISE is accredited for testing and evaluating cyber security of charging stations (IoT consumer products) ETSI 303645 and public charging stations IEC 62443-4-2. Our offer also includes penetration tests of charging stations (not accredited). In terms of safety, we perform accredited evaluation and risk analysis according to IEC 61508.
Cyber security is characterised by a rapid development and that goes for the regulations too. The radio directive presents new demands on cybersecurity and forthcoming methods under the Cyber Security Act.
