The National Laboratory for High voltage and High current
RISE is the National Metrology Institute of Sweden and is responsible, through its National Laboratories, for the fundamental measurement quantities in the International System of Units SI.
At the National Laboratory for High voltage and High current we have Sweden's foremost resources for measurement and calibration in the field. We develop reference systems and measurement methods to meet the needs for traceability of industry and society, both nationally and internationally. We collaborate with other institutes worldwide to drive cutting-edge research and standardization (IEC, CENELEC).
As high-voltage equipment is often very large, we also have a world-leading competence and ability to ensure traceability on site all over the world.
