Abstract submission FSF 2024

We hope that you are interested in taking part in the 4th International Symposium on Fire Safety of Facades (FSF 2024) and we warmly welcome you to submit an abstract. The language of the symposium is English. 

Submission and reviewing process

Step 1: Abstracts submission extended deadline October 31, 2023
Authors are invited to submit abstracts between 150 and 200 words in MSWord format mentioning the appropriate topic, authors, affiliations and email address. Best abstracts will be invited to do an oral presentation during the symposium. Other abstracts will be invited to prepare a poster.

Step 2: Full Paper Submission
Accepted authors are invited to submit a paper (8 pages) online at latest by midnight February 16th, 2024. Please use the template attached below.

Step 3: Final Paper Submission
After reviewer feedback on the full paper the final paper needs to be submitted at latest April 15, 2024. 

Step 4: Special issue in Fire and Materials on fire safety on facades
After the conference suitable papers will be invited for inclusion in a special issue of the scientific journal Fire and Materials on Fire Safety of Facades. These selected papers will need to be extended to fit in the journal and will have to go through the journal reviewing process.

Scope

Participants interested in presenting scientific work are invited to submit abstracts related to the following topics:

• Facade materials and systems behaviour in fire
• Fire testing and assessments methods
• Numerical modelling and FSE of facade fires
• Practical applications and case studies of facade fires
• Regulation and standardization
