My job is focused on development of new products and processes by using industrial biotechnology. My core competence is within the field of biomass pretreatment, enzymatic hydrolysis, fermentation and strain development. I have a PhD in biochemistry and 20 years of R&D experience. I am an inventor of >60 patents and author of >20 scientific publications within the field of industrial biotechnology. Currently, I am Biotechnology research and business developer. I work in close collaboration with the biotechnology team at RISE and we are focused on R&D at lab and pilot scale to facilitate the industrial transition towards a bioeconomy. With a little help from biology we develop products such as bioplastics, biofuels, biochemicals, food and feed.
