Sweden a leader in advanced therapies 2030
The project brings together relevant stakeholders around a shared vision, to achieve a long-term transformation of the innovation system for advanced therapies based on gene and cell therapeutic products (so-called ATMP).
The focus is on goals and challenges identified in workshops and in dialogue with representatives from healthcare, industry, authorities and academia:
- National coordination and increased international contacts and collaborations.
- Improved capability for industrial development and manufacturing of ATMPs in Sweden.
- Effective processes for clinical access and implementation of cost efficient ATMPs in Swedish healthcare.
- Increased knowledge and education to secure future competence needs.
