Contact JennyEUSMEsupport gives advice free-of-charge to Swedish small and medium sized enterprises in order to increase the number of applications to Horizon Europe, Eurostars and Innovation Fund. The participating organisations have interdisciplinary competence, wide experience of giving support to SMEs and are working actively all over Sweden.
The aim of EUSMEsupport is to support Swedish small and medium sized enterprises (SME) applying for, or implementing, projects in Horizon Europe, Eurostars or Innovation Fund. The project thus contributes to a larger share of the funds granted under the three programmes reaching Swedish SMEs. The support includes advice and guidance before and during the application process, as well as during the ongoing projects. If needed, companies will also be referred to other SMEs in the context of activities at the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).
Swedish companies could be better at getting more applications approved and thus get more financial support from the EU. Smaller companies often do not have the same resources internally as larger companies and therefore they may find it more difficult to stand up to competition where one needs to be able to interpret regulations and look for financing opportunities as well as knowing how to write a successful application.
The project is divided into areas of responsibilty (AO); AO Operations Management, AO External Relations, AO Training of SMEs, AO Communication & Marketing, AO Support to Companies and AO Internal Training. The project shall have an outreach activity and drive marketing in relevant channels and forums. The needs of the companies shall be analysed in order to either be passed on to the project and to receive application assistance and project support, or to another appropriate body outside the framework of the project. EUSME Support provides training for companies on how to write an application or coaching for pitching in Brussels. The assignment is a procured service over one year with the possibility of extension for a total of 4 years.
EUSMEsupport will contribute to more Swedish companies investigating their opportunities to apply within Horizon Europe, Eurostars and Innovation Fund. Companies will submit applications of higher quality and will do better in the evaluation procedure. This will lead to more Swedish SMEs reaching a wider market and increasing their opportunities for internationalisation.
