Seyed B. Hosseini, is manager for the Additive Manufacturing Team (3D-printing) at RISE IVF. The AM-Team works with manufacturing of metals, ceramics and polymers, using Selective Laser Melting technology, Stereolithographic and FDM. The AM-Team consist of some 15 highly competent and skilled persons active along major parts of the supply chain in additive manufacturing, ranging from material development, design and simulations, process development, and post-operations including quality assurance. In addition to the AM-Team at RISE IVF, the close collaboration in RISE makes us a strong partner both nationally as well as internationally when it comes AM.
Seyed coordinates several research projects within AM and also active in AM-Arena, CAM2 and MCR. Moreover, Seyed also works at Chalmers University of Technology, where he is active within metal cutting and advances material characterization of metallic materials at the department of "Industrial and Materials Science".
