Sarder Fakhrul Abedin
Sarder Fakhrul Abedin received the B.S. degree in Computer Science from Kristianstad University, Sweden, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from Kyung Hee University, South Korea, in 2020, supported by the President Scholarship and the Brain Korea (BK) 21+ program.
He is currently a Researcher with the Connected Intelligence Unit, RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, Stockholm, Sweden, and previously served as a Senior Lecturer in Computer Engineering at Mid Sweden University, Sweden. He has led multiple AI/ML-driven research projects, holds several patents, and has authored over 50 peer-reviewed articles.
He is an IEEE Senior Member and actively contributes to standardization efforts, including the IEEE P1955 Standard for the 6G-Robo Working Group, and engages with the IEEE Communications Society's Technical Community on Intelligent Informatics and Computer Communications. He also serves as a Section Board Member for MDPI Sensors.
His research interests include wireless networking, edge computing, network intelligence, and explainable AI.
