Sandy Alomari

I am a Researcher at the Fiber Optics unit at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, where I work on R&D projects focusing on the fabrication, characterization, and application of optical fibers. My work involves developing and optimizing fiber fabrication processes, investigating fiber properties and performance, and exploring innovative applications of advanced fiber technologies.

I joined RISE in October 2018 and have since gained extensive experience working in multidisciplinary research and development projects, collaborating with researchers, engineers, industry partners, and academic institutions.

I hold a Master’s degree in Physics with a specialization in Nanotechnology, which provided me with a strong background in materials science, nanotechnology, optics, and experimental physics. I am currently pursuing a PhD at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in collaboration with RISE, where I further develop my expertise in optical fibers and their applications.
