Olof Öberg was born in Uppsala, Sweden, in 1966. He graduated in chemistry from Växjö technical college, Teknikum, in 1986 and has been working with process development for semiconductor components since 1994 – first at Ericsson Components in Kista, and since 1998 at Acreo (which is a part of RISE since 2018). He has experience from working with silicon, silicon carbide and III-V compounds, for fiber optic, imaging, microelectronic and MEMS applications.
